Giant Green- Eyed Robber Fly Versus Ruby- Throated Hummingbird

3D sculpture created with ZBrush as models for completion in photoshop for 2D printed illustration in Missouri's youth wildlife magazine XPLOR. The Robber Fly is known to stalk Hummingbirds; that is "attacking" the hummer to eat while it is perched. The Robber Fly wraps all three of its pairs of long legs around the Hummingbird then stabbing hummingbird with its knife-like mouth parts.
